About This Study

This clinical trial is studying how well a new medication helps reduce the frequency and intensity of agitation or psychosis episodes in Alzheimer's disease patients. The study medication is already approved for other diseases. The study staff are trained to work with Alzheimer's participants and treat every patient of ours with care and compassion.

Each visit there is a stipend of $100 paid to the patient and another $100 paid to the caregiver for attending the visit and answering the questionnaires.

There is also a travel stipend based on mileage to and from the clinic from your residence.

The first 3 months of the study are the study medication vs Placebo. Then if the participant and caregiver want to roll into the open label portion of the study, all participants will receive the study medication for up to one year. But this is optional.
